History of TCS World Series
2009 will be the 13th year of the TCS World
Series and the 6th year in Park City. In 2008
320 teams from 20 states participated in the
World Series. We anticipate almost 350 teams in
2009. Teams participating in the World Series
come from Triple Crown qualifying tournaments
that are managed by Triple Crown or one of their
franchise territory owners, or awarded At Large
Berths from state that do not have a qualifying
event system. Most of the tournament teams come
from California, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah,
but almost every state West of the Mississippi
is represented.
Various Championship games have been taped for
TV and syndicated to various cable networks
across the country for the past two years. This
year’s 16UA and 18UA Championship games will
again be televised.
